Shelly is a phenomenal photographer with not only a wide range of skill level but also directing. She's made some pretty amazing sets/photos look so professional, suited to the theme and mood of the shoot. From horror to boudoir, abstract body art to fashion, she's got a well rounded style! As an inexperienced model I really appreciated my time working with her. Her direction was patient, straightforward, methodical, and helped me improve so much in my own practice! I got a much better sense of angles, where to look, and how to highlight the focus of the shoot depending on her vision. She also gave a lot of positive feedback and suggestions, showing me the photos of what worked and what didn't--sometimes when you're in front of the camera it can be difficult to tell how the finished product looks, so having this communication with the photographer is fantastic. She also makes sure to get a variety of angles and does a beautiful job with editing photos, keeping them simple and realistic--very professional and difficult to do in my opinion as most tend to over edit.
